  • Do you only work in Somerset?
    I’m based in Somerset and most often deliver across the South West, but I also travel further afield on request. Travel charges apply for longer distances.
  • How much do your cakes cost?
    Every design is quoted individually, but as a guide: Three-tier wedding cakes start at £400 Intricate painted or sugar-flower designs typically range £700–£1,200 Dessert tables start at £12 per guest Once you complete the enquiry form, I’ll provide a clear, tailored quote.
  • How far in advance should we enquire?
    Most couples reach out 12–18 months ahead, particularly for popular summer weekends. If your date is sooner, please still complete the enquiry form, if I have availability, I would love to create something for you.
  • Do you make cakes for smaller celebrations?
    Yes. I offer one-tier cutting cakes, intimate dessert tables, and picnic or grazing feasts - perfect for elopements and smaller weddings. Just fill out the enquiry form with your plans and I’ll suggest the best option.
  • What happens to cake stands and props afterwards?
    Any hired stands or props will either be collected by me the following day, or can be returned to my Somerset kitchen within 3 days. This will all be arranged in advance.
  • Do you deliver and set up the cake?
    Yes. I personally deliver and set up every bespoke cake and dessert table to ensure everything is perfectly styled on the day. Delivery is quoted based on distance from my Somerset kitchen.
  • What happens if the weather is hot?
    Buttercream and chocolate can be sensitive to heat, but don’t worry - I’ll liaise with your venue to make sure the cake is kept cool before display. I’ll also advise on the best timings for cutting and serving so everything looks and tastes its best.
  • Do you cater for dietary requirements?
    I can create gluten-free, dairy-free, or vegan cakes on request. However, please note that all cakes are baked in my kitchen where gluten, dairy, nuts, and other allergens are handled, so I cannot guarantee they are entirely allergen-free.
  • How do we book you for our wedding?
    The first step is to fill out my wedding enquiry form so I have all the details of your day. From there, we’ll arrange a design consultation to chat through flavours, style, and inspiration. To secure your date in my diary, a £50 non-refundable booking fee is required, with the remaining balance due one month before your wedding.
  • Can you design a cake that’s unique to us?
    Absolutely. Every cake is bespoke, inspired by your story, your venue, and the season. I often weave in Somerset’s finest produce -- from Cheddar strawberries in June to orchard apples in October, so your cake feels both personal and of the moment.
  • Can you style the dessert table too?
    Yes. Full styling is part of my dessert and grazing table service. I bring risers, trays, florals, and seasonal touches so your table becomes a show-stopping centrepiece, not just a place for food.
  • Do you offer cake tastings?
    Yes. Once you’ve enquired, you’re welcome to order one of my seasonal tasting boxes (£39), which can be delivered nationwide. They include a curated selection of signature flavours - the perfect way to decide on your favourites over a pot of tea at home.
