The Booking Process
From first enquiry to the final slice, the process of commissioning your wedding cake, dessert table, afternoon tea or catering is designed to feel simple, personal, and enjoyable. Every couple receives the same care and attention to detail, ensuring the experience is as considered and memorable as the day itself.

Step One: Enquire
It all starts with your initial enquiry. You can get in touch using the form below to check availability for your date.
From there, we’ll arrange a short, informal Google Meet to talk through your plans - your date, venue, budget, and the overall style you have in mind. I’ll also give you an estimated quote at this stage so you have a clear idea of cost early on.
If everything feels like a good fit, a £100 booking fee will secure your date in my diary.
Step Two: Cake Tasting
Once your booking fee has been paid, you’ll receive access to your own personal client portal, where you can keep track of your booking and next steps.
From there, you’ll be able to schedule your cake tasting. These are posted out four times a year and are included within your booking fee.
If you’d prefer to try flavours before securing your date, or if you’d like to sample more than the six included, you’re very welcome to order an additional tasting box using the link below.

Step Three: Consultation and Design
Next, we’ll have your design consultation, where we’ll go through your wedding in more detail and refine the design together.
Following the consultation, I’ll create a tailored design sketch and send over a final, accurate quote based on everything we’ve discussed.
These consultations take place in January and February in the year of your wedding.
Step Four: Payment
Once you’re happy with your design and quote, a 20% deposit is required to confirm your order.
The remaining balance will then be due 4 weeks before your wedding date.

Step Five: Final Details
Around a month before your wedding, we’ll finalise all of the remaining details for your big day.
You’ll receive a short questionnaire to confirm everything I need - including delivery information, timings, and any final design notes - so everything runs smoothly on the day.
Step Six: Delivery and Setup
On your wedding day, your cake, dessert table, afternoon tea or treats are personally delivered and set up at the agreed time. Setup is carried out discreetly and with care, with additional styling of the table available if required.
An allergen sheet, cutting guide, and setup handover are provided to your venue or catering team. A photo confirmation is taken once setup is complete, ensuring everything looks exactly as planned before the day continues.

Step Seven: After the Day
Cake stands and display equipment can be hired if required. These are provided with a postal return box for easy return after your wedding.
Allergen information is always handled with care. While every effort is made to minimise cross-contact, all major allergens are used in the kitchen, so cakes cannot be guaranteed allergen-free.
Every part of the process is designed to feel calm and considered, from the first sketch to the final slice. Whether your design is classic, modern, sculptural, or artistic, each cake is created to reflect your story and the season it is made for.

Bringing Your Design to Life
Each classic design begins with a discussion about the tone and setting of your celebration. During your consultation, we’ll explore finishes, styles, and traditional techniques that best reflect your day. Whether you’re drawn to intricate piping, smooth ganache, or soft buttercream, every design is created with precision and an appreciation for timeless craftsmanship.
Classic designs of three tiers and under are suitable for collection, and clear storage and transport guidance will be provided to ensure safe delivery to your venue.
